Security
  1. What type of file redundancy do you offer?
  2. Is the data backup process secure?
  3. How secure are my files on your remote servers?

Can't find the answer here? Please contact our support staff, support@datavaultcorp.com.

What type of file redundancy does the service offer?
Data is maintained on three independent servers. Files are initially uploaded to the primary Data Vault. This Vault is then mirrored to a secondary Vault. The secondary Vault is then replicated to a tertiary Vault through a private network. Additional information about service redundancy is available.

Is the data backup process secure?
Yes! The backup process is incredibly secure. Data is encrypted using a 448 Bit encryption algorithm before it is transmitted across the internet to the backup servers. Transmitted data remains encrypted on our servers. Additional information about the secure data backup is available.

How secure are my files?
Your files are incredibly secure. As mentioned above, files are replicated three times to provide three independent copies of your data. Our world-class data center ensures that your data is stored in a safe location. The fire suppression system ensures that any potential fire is extinguished before it leads to additional damage. The uninterruptible power supply and generator system ensures that our remote servers are available throughout periods of inhospitable weather or electrical outages. Biometric fingerprint scanners, 24/7 staffing and surveillance ensure that only authorized personnel will have access to the servers. Additional information about the network security is available.
